Ingredients

Proteins

  • 500 g Pork Spareribs
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce

Aromatics

  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 piece Red Chilies
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon White Pepper

Sauces & Seasonings

  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar

Vegetables

  • 2 tablespoons Fermented Black Beans

Other

  • 2 tablespoons Water

Instructions

    Rinse the Pork Spareribs thoroughly and pat them dry.

    In a large bowl, combine the Pork Spareribs with Fermented Black Beans, Garlic, Red Chilies, Ginger, Cornstarch, Light Soy Sauce, Oyster Sauce, Sesame Oil, Sugar, White Pepper, and Water. Mix well and marinate.

    Arrange the marinated Pork Spareribs in a single layer on a heatproof dish. Place the dish into a preheated steamer.

    Steam over high heat until the Pork Spareribs are tender and fully cooked.

    Carefully remove from the steamer and serve hot with steamed rice.
